Legal Assistant

Peyton Turnbow is the Legal Assistant here at Apffel Legal. Born and raised right here in Galveston, Peyton comes from a large, close-knit family and is the granddaughter of the island’s renowned shrimper, Jerome Kunz. Her deep roots in the community give her a unique understanding of the people we serve and a genuine passion for helping others.

Peyton has been a vital part of our team since 2018, but our connection with her goes back even further, having known her since she was just 15 years old. Over the years, she has grown into an indispensable member of the Apffel firm. Known for her friendly demeanor and compassionate heart, Peyton understands that many of our clients walk through our doors on some of the worst days of their lives. She takes pride in being a calming, reassuring presence, helping them take the first step toward a brighter tomorrow.
